Welcome to the AKC Approved CGC Evaluator List for Virtual Evaluations
(AKC Trick Dog and Virtual Home Manners)
AKC Trick Dog may be tested in person or virtually, and Virtual Home Manners is tested virtually at the dog owner’s home.
For more information (including test checklists and Title Applications) for these exciting programs where you can train your dog and earn titles at home, visit our other sites . . .
Below is a list of current AKC Approved CGC Evaluators who will test dogs virtually. The list is arranged by city/state so dog owners may choose to support local trainers, however, AKC Approved CGC Evaluators in any state may conduct virtual tests for your dog’s AKC Trick Dog and Virtual Home Manners titles. Fees for virtual evaluations vary and are between the Evaluator and dog owner.
Here’s How it Works:
Train Your Dog on
First teach your dog the skills on the Checklists that can be found on the Tricks or VHM web pages. There are videos of the tests in action on the VHM web page.
Video Your Dog Performing the Skills.
Next, take a video of your dog performing the skills on the checklist(s). Videos may be individual skills or one continuous take (or arrange a live video session with the Evaluator).
Contact an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator.
Look on the list below to arrange for an Evaluator to review your video. You may also ask CGC Evaluators in your club. Remember that for Virtual testing, the Evaluator can be in any city.
The Evaluator Will Send
You the Forms.
If your dog passes the test, the Evaluator will send you the Checklist(s) and Title Application forms. Send these two forms to AKC with the fee to apply for your title. The Evaluator will also send a copy of the Checklist(s) To AKC.
